I woke up in Oslo and this song was in my head before I made it to my guitar and pen and paper. The melodies, chords, and refrain all spilled out like water. Imagery of different eras of my adulthood dot each verse, as do the friends (current and former) closest to me. Special guests include David Vandervelde (FATHER JOHN MISTY), Macie Stewart (FINOM), Sebastian Steinberg (FIONA APPLE), Teddy Rankin-Parker (IRON & WINE).
